A Day at the Experimentory: Studio

May 22, 2017

"Saved by the bell." That old, jokey phrase refers to the sigh of relief that many of us have let out when the school bell rings ending class just in time. You don't have to answer that question that stumped you -- you won't have to present until tomorrow. Even the best of us have been there on occasion -- but you won't be there this summer. At the Experimentory, we face the opposite problem -- "burned by the bell."

Five middle school classmates fine tune their carnival game for their mid-program presentation

Bell burn is far worse than fumbling through a tough question. Imagine: you've just figured out how to achieve the musical effect you want in your composition, or you've finally found the bug in your robot's code, or you just read about an architectural feature that would be perfect for the condo you're designing... and class has to end now??? When you are passionate about your work, you want more time to tweak, experiment, and play.

Experimentory Studio time is just that: the opportunity to apply what you've learned in your couse clusters to take your projects to the next level. Watch the video below to learn more; visit our Experience page to see how Studio fits into the greater whole of the Experimentory.

Our "A Day at the Experimentory" video and blog series highlights many different parts of our program and how they all fit together. Are you curious how you might fit in, too? Let's talk and see if the Experimentory is right for your summer!
